just a little reflection on how much the world is against introverts. how people judge you for not being as lively as everyone else, not laughing as loud, wanting to leave. but more than that, just a little reflection on how insensitive our culture is to one another. we only see what we see and we only know what we know–all in that moment of time of that interaction. look at me all you want, make all the assumptions that you want from my body language, from how much i smile, for the words i say but let me tell you something: you won’t know what i don’t tell you. so don’t judge me too harshly when you’re lacking facts and evidence.
