“Hello love.” The world whispers.
“Hello!” I scream back.
Instead of reprimanding me, as many would see fit, the world smiles back at me. It understands the peace within my bones despite all the wrong goings, despite the lack of a awaited phone call, of unknown futures and unanswered desires. This world smiles back because it knows what will come to pass, how all will be fine and it’s proud of it’s child, me, who in this moment knows it too.
“Beautiful, isn’t it?” The world asks.
Silence fills the air. No response is needed.
